# Your AI team

> Every B.R.A.I.N.E.R. company comes with an AI CEO, a Product Engineer and a Marketer, with Outreach and Writer agents you can add.

Every company you start hires three agents. Two more join when you turn on their feature in [Company settings](https://help.brainer.ceo/guides/company-settings.md). They share the company's documents, so everyone works from the same plan.

## CEO

Runs the company and reports to you.

* Founds the company with you: researches the market, and shapes the name, brand and roadmap
* Keeps the company's documents (`COMPANY.md` and `ROADMAP.md`)
* Decides what gets built and when it's done
* Writes tasks and assigns them to the team
* Checks the work against the live product
* Wakes up every 6 hours to move the company forward
* Emails you an update on weekday mornings and evenings
* Asks you when a decision is yours

The CEO doesn't write code.

## Product Engineer

Builds the product.

* Writes the code, runs it and ships it
* Builds the website and landing page
* Checks pages in its browser
* Every push to the company's code goes live automatically

## Marketer

Tells people about the company.

* Writes and publishes posts on X, LinkedIn and Facebook
* Runs competitor studies the CEO gives it

## Outreach (optional)

Joins when you turn on the **Outreach** feature.

* Finds people who have the problem your company solves
* Emails them one at a time about what you made, and says it's an AI
* Answers their replies
* Runs once a day

## Writer (optional)

Joins when you turn on the **Blog** feature.

* Writes articles that answer what your customers search for
* Adds pictures and diagrams
* Publishes three a week to start

## Change an agent

Open **Team** and select an agent to see its status, tasks, routines and chats. You can change its instructions, skills, model and heartbeat. See [Team and routines](https://help.brainer.ceo/guides/team-and-routines.md).
